Hotel Teatro
announces the selection of Mr. Matthew Hamann as director of revenue.
An
award-winning hospitality leader with more than 20 years of experience,
Hamann
has extensive regional management and operations experience with
multiple
brands, including InterContinental Hotels Group, Marriott and Westin.
In his
new position, Hamann will lead the Hotel Teatro team in developing and
implementing strategies to improve revenue, service and quality. “I look forward to building upon my past hospitality experience and leading the Hotel Teatro team toward continued success,” said Hamann. “I’m honored to join the ranks of a property such as Hotel Teatro, continually lauded for its impeccable service and quality.” Prior to joining Hotel Teatro, Hamann managed a portfolio of lodging properties and National Parks with Delaware North Companies as GuestPath Business Partner, where he focused on the continued development of service and operational standards for the Parks & Resorts Division. Hamann also has years of experience as Senior Area Manager for InterContinental Hotels Group, where he administered on-site training and consultation, as well as oversaw the implementation of strategies to improve revenue, service and quality for a portfolio of more than 35 upscale, midscale and extended stay hotels in Northern California. During his tenure with InterContinental Hotels Group, Hamann received its prestigious “Area Manager of the Year,” and “Midscale Deal of the Year,” awards. “We are thrilled to have Matt join us at Hotel Teatro,” said Mark Plonkey, general manager of Hotel Teatro. “We are confident that his expertise and results-oriented approach will continue to make Hotel Teatro a leader in hospitality excellence.” Hamann attended college at Kansas State University and holds a B.S. in Radio and Television Broadcasting.
