COSTA MESA, California, USA - May 11, 2012-- Maxence Bonnamain, Director of Las Casitas Villages at the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, was awarded the Rising Star Award at the Caribbean Hotel & Resort Investment Summit (CHRIS), on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami hotel in Miami, Florida, USA.  CHRIS is hosted by Burba Hotel Network (BHN).

The Rising Star Award was created by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), in collaboration with BHN, to celebrate the excellence of young emerging leaders in the hospitality industry and to reward an outstanding individual each year with the Rising Star Award.  The candidate must be under 35 years of age, currently work in a hospitality-related field, be living and working in the Caribbean, and be recognized by leaders of his or her own hotel or organization as a rising star.  This Award was successfully launched at the 2011 CHRIS event, with the number of candidates exceeding expectations.
