The Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, Missouri Hires
Kyle S. Lipetzky as Executive Chef

ST. LOUIS, May 16, 2012 -- The Chase Park Plaza has hired Kyle S. Lipetzky as executive chef overseeing the activities of the hotel's culinary team. In his new role, Lipetzky will be responsible for the creative direction of Eau Bistro, Cafe Eau, and the Hotel's Catering Division and Outlets.

Previously, Chef Lipetzky held culinary leadership positions at The Phoenician Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, a well-known AAA Five-Diamond, Forbes Four-Star property with 643 guest rooms. Lipetzky was responsible for half of the resort's restaurants, including The Thirsty Camel Lounge, the Sushi Bar, The Lobby Tea Court, Il Terrazzo, and Mary Elaine's, as well as in-room dining.

"Kyle has an extensive background and award-winning track record at world-class luxury hotels and resorts, so inviting him to join our team was an easy decision," said James L. Smith, managing partner of CWE Hospitality Services, LLC, the manager of The Chase Park Plaza. Prior to his work at The Phoenician, Lipetzky worked at The Camelback Inn, a JW Marriott Resort and Spa, where his culinary expertise and leadership helped win a AAA Five-Diamond Award, a Forbes Four-Star Award, and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

"I strive to build a culture of creativity, professionalism and collaboration among my chefs, cooks and colleagues, always pushing to better anticipate our guest's needs," said Lipetzky. "At the Chase, I'll combine modern techniques and plating with locally grown and sustainable ingredients, delivering a refreshed menu with simple yet tasty dishes that continue to elevate the Chase Park Plaza's dining experiences."
