(May 4, 2012) LinGate Hospitality and Crestpoint Companies announce the official groundbreaking ceremony of the new 100-unit Holiday Inn Express & Suites Easton. The ceremony will took place Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 4899 Sunbury Road in Columbus, Ohio.

The new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Easton is owned by Sunbury Easton, LP, an Ohio limited partnership formed by LinGate Hospitality and Crestpoint Companies. The hotel is being built and operated under license from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world's largest and most respected hotel operators. IHG operates more than 4,400 properties located in over 100 countries.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotels provide guests an uncompromised level of service designed to accommodate everyone from the corporate road warrior to the leisure traveler and everyone in between.Each guest room provides a 32-inch flat screen TV with a special A/V and networking station, as well as a microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, and plush bedding for comfort.

Public area amenities will include an indoor pool, a fitness center, group and meeting spaces outfitted with the latest technology, free continental breakfast and free high-speed Internet access.

The hotel's environmentally friendly, state-of-the-art design will incorporate numerous green initiatives, including computerized energy management and make-up air systems, as well as other green initiatives designed to operate the hotels with maximum energy efficiency and minimum environmental impact.

HiFive Development Services, Inc. is the project's general contractor, who specializes in the design and build of hotels and churches. HiFive is headquartered in Mason, Ohio.

The hotel, scheduled to open in late 2012, will be the first new hotel to open in the Easton area since 2007.
