Holly Anderson-Bender Named Director of Sales for the 145-room Courtyard
by Marriott in Cromwell, Connecticut, Managed by Waterford Hotel Group

CROMWELL, CT (May 21, 2012)
-- Holly Anderson-Bender has been named Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT. The 145-room Courtyard is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.

As Director of Sales, Anderson-Bender will be responsible for the total sales efforts at the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Anderson-Bender brings extensive hospitality sales experience to the team at Courtyard Marriott Cromwell. Her roles include Director of Sales & Marketing positions at several Connecticut hotels, including the Stamford Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, Trumbull Marriott, Westchester Marriott, and Dolce Hotels & Resorts in Norwalk and Southbury. Anderson-Bender most recently served as Director of Sales & Marketing for The Study at Yale Hotel in New Haven.

Anderson-Bender holds an Associate of Science Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales College in Providence, RI, and is a member of Meeting Professional International. She currently resides in Milford, CT.
