ZDirect Now Helps Guests Check in Faster with OpenWays Mobile Technology

Hallandale Beach, FL, June 21st, 2012ZDirect, Inc. announces an interface to Mobile Key by OpenWays, a ubiquitous mobile phone-based front-desk bypass business solution which enables guests to securely use their mobile device as a room key. 
 
ZDirect’s eCRM engine helps facilitate the sign up process by promoting the OpenWays’ service in the confirmation or pre-stay email and integrating its web forms directly into the OpenWays’ Mobile Key system.  ZDirect captures the information from the sign up form and automatically appends the mobile number to the guest profile in ZMail helping hoteliers to organically build their opt-in mobile database.  Properties can then send targeted on-property SMS messaging via the ZMail platform to their mobile customers to maximize guest revenue during their stay.

The program changes the way people check in by making the whole process much quicker, easier and more convenient for the customer.  ZDirect electronically gathers and passes arrival data about the guest’s reservation to OpenWays’ which provides all the necessary information to the guest.  This then enables guests to bypass any front desk line at a suitably equipped hotel and get straight to their rooms without delay.  It’s an optional service offered to guests that prefer not to stop at the front desk and it’s all about freedom of choice and efficiency.  This makes standing in line at the check-in desk a thing of the past.  Guests just book and can walk straight to their room with just a touch of their mobile phone.
