Pyramid Hotel Group Appoints Paul Sacco as Senior Vice President
of the Business Development Team

- Following a year of significant growth, Pyramid Hotel Group  has announced the appointment of Paul Sacco as Senior Vice President of the Business Development Team. In his new role, Sacco helps lead the hotel acquisitions, management and asset management growth and reports to Warren Fields, Partner and Chief Investment Officer.

"Paul is a strong industry leader with extensive hotel development experience, and I am pleased to welcome him to our Boston corporate office," said Fields. "We are positioned for exceptional growth as one of the industry's most dynamic management companies, and I am confident Paul will help us accelerate our footprint in North America with great partners and hotels."

Sacco joins Pyramid from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he led North America Development with an aggressive expansion strategy for each of the hotel group's nine brands. Over a nine-year span during which he progressed from Vice President of Development, East to Senior Vice President of Development, North America, Sacco proved a key player in driving Starwood's growth by 143% from 228 to 554 hotels, as well as in launching the groundbreaking brands Aloft Hotels and Element by Westin.

Previously, Sacco worked in various leadership positions in global sales, operations, and development for Swissotel, US Franchise Systems and Omni Hotels.  He began his career in the hospitality industry as National Director of Sales for Omni.

Sacco has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Brown University. He will be relocating to his hometown of Boston with his wife Paula and their three children.
