JoAnn Elston Promoted to General Manager of The Curtis
- a Doubletree by Hilton in Denver, Colorado

The Curtis - a Doubletree by Hilton is pleased to announce that JoAnn Elston, otherwise known as “Leading Lady,” has been promoted to General Manager of Denver’s only pop culture-themed hotel.

Managed by Denver’s Sage Hospitality, the 336-room Curtis encourages all guests to “Stay  Happy with 13 themed guest room floors - including the “One Hit Wonder Floor” and the “Chick Flick Floor,” front desk clerks who are always willing to hula hoop with guests and a 5 & Dime novelty store brimming with playful treats from the past.

With more than 18 years of hospitality experience, Elston was most recently the Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Sage’s Premier & Lifestyle Division, overseeing the Curtis, the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek and The Oxford Hotel.

Elston joined the Curtis as the Director of Sales & Marketing in 2010, coming from The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida. She also previously served as Director of Sales at The Paramount Hotel in New York and the Wyndham Bristol Hotel in Washington, D.C.
