News for the Hospitality Executive
Phoenix, Ariz. - June 25, 2012 - Communications Integrators, Inc. (Cii) will introduce G-LINK and unveil its highly anticipated line of next generation connectivity panels at HITEC®, the world's largest hospitality technology show, June 25th - 28th at the Baltimore Convention Center. Formerly guestLINK, G-LINK focuses heavily on how, why, and where guests use their mobile devices. Now, this completely new product line providesAV connections tailored heavily to smartphones and tablets with plenty of charging ports.
Debuting in style, G-LINK has been selected for GUESTROOM 20X®, a futuristic guestroom featuring the latest and near-future technologies for the modern hotel room. Produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), a new version of GUESTROOM 20X® occurs every other year. G-LINK has also been chosen for HITEC's® TechTours, an educational tour of the exhibit hall that gives an up-close look at IPTV and mobile technologies.
Responding to the way people now travel, work, and live, G-LINK’s connectivity panels provide freedom, comfort, and convenience while helping progressive hotels create a lasting impression. Doubling as either a compliment to IPTV or an inexpensive alternative, features range from built-in Apple docks to enough AV ports to support smartphones, tablets, personal gaming consoles, and laptops. G-LINK’s Obsess wireless allows guests to relax in bed while they browse, select, control playback, and share personal content on the HDTV. The Crave line with built-in Apple connector means guests will not need a special cable to use their favorite devices.
“Hotel guests rely heavily on electronics and desire quick, easy access to their personal entertainment,” said J. Glynn Gross, CEO of Cii. “Our new connectivity panels deliver that ‘edgy’ factor hotels have been looking for to transform the guest room HDTV and exceed expectations.”
Four robust product lines with auto-sensing technology will be introduced at HITEC® including Essential, Desire, Crave, and Obsess. Available in desktop and wall-mount, G-LINK accommodates everything from luxury hotels to economy hotels without putting a dent in the walls or the bottom line. Whether new construction or room renovation, G-LINK’s flexible design options blend with any interior environment. Custom faceplates can also be designed to enhance brand recognition.
Since 1988, Communications Integrators, Inc. (Cii) has pioneered electrical solutions, leading the market in modular power, voice, and data systems designed to keep the workplace dynamic and ready for change. Cii’s connectivity panels enrich the in-room experience for hotel guests by providing an auto-sensing, plug-and-play environment for today’s popular technology devices.
