June 28, 2012 - MINNEAPOLIS, MINN – Gary Holmes, CSM Corporation President and CEO, announces that Bill Upshaw joins the company as President of lodging and residential, as of June 4.

Bill joins CSM after serving as President and COO of Windsor Capital Group in Santa Monica, CA. In that position, Upshaw oversaw hotel operations along with the company's strategic objectives, asset capitalization and partnership relationships. During his time at WCG, Bill grew the company thru the addition of thirty party management and JV partnerships.  Key focuses during this period also included asset capitalization and transaction origination. He also led the re-capitalization of much of the existing debt structure, reduced corporate overhead expense and increased hotel guest satisfaction through company-wide service initiatives. Bill began his career with Marriott International® and held senior executive positions of increasing responsibility at Durbin Companies, Crestline, and Benchmark Hospitality.

In his role with CSM, Upshaw will bring his extensive experience in operations, third party management and real estate transactions to the table. “I look forward to being part of the CSM team, re-evaluating, balancing and adding product to the portfolio," comments Upshaw, “and further developing a diverse strategy and new opportunities that will shape future growth.”
