Hilton Head Island, SC (April 25, 2012) – The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has recently announced some new employee appointments. Sophie Kruse has been named Group Sales Manager. She was previously working on the Sales Support Team and will now handle the social, military, education and religious markets for the Resort. Ellen Lam has been named Leisure Sales Manager, handling leisure and business travel.  Ellen has been with the resort for 5 years as Marketing Manager.

Francesca (Ches) Ney has been named Group Sales Manager and will handle the South Carolina and West Coast group markets. Ches was previously the Leisure Sales Manager at the resort. Trish Luckenbill was recently appointed Catering Sales Manager and will be selling and servicing weddings, social events and local meetings.  Trish was formally a Catering Manager with the W hotel in Dallas and has been with Starwood for 5 years.

Annette Miller was recently appointed Group Sales Manager, and will handle the North East Market.  Annette was formally an Account Manager with the Starwood Atlanta Metro Market and has been with Starwood for over 10 years. Julia Dodson has been named Catering Sales Manager. Julia has been with the resort for over 5 years managing the food and beverage outlets, and now will be selling and servicing weddings, social events and local meetings.  Lisa Tennison, Group Sales Manager will be taking over the Mid-Atlantic Association and Corporate Markets.  Lisa has been with the resort for 8 years and previously handled the Social Market.
