Thompson Hotels & Resorts Selects the IDeaS Revenue Management System
for Six of its Properties in the U.S.


Automated system increases operational efficiency;
complements Thompson’s ambitious growth plans for 2012 and 2013

 
Minneapolis, MN – April 17, 2012 – IDeaS Revenue Solutions, the leading provider of pricing and revenue management software, services and consulting, today announced Thompson Hotels will implement the IDeaS Revenue Management System (RMS) within six Thompson Hotel properties in the U.S. The move kicks off a company-wide initiative to automate revenue management processes for increased profitability across all Thompson properties through 2012 and 2013.

Since its inception in 2001 with 60 Thompson in New York, Thompson Hotels has been rapidly expanding to include 12 luxury lifestyle hotels in prime vacation destinations, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Toronto and London. In February, the company announced its merge with Joie de Vivre Hospitality to become Commune Hotels & Resorts, which manages 47 properties under the distinctive Thompson and Joie de Vivre brands.
