ROCKLEIGH, NJ - March 9, 2012 - Dolce Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the appointment of Karine Pinson to Vice President of Sales, Europe. With extensive hotel sales experience, including six years with Dolce, Pinson will serve as a strategic business leader for all of the hotel group's European properties. Working out of the Dolce Chantilly office in France, Pinson will also lead on-property sales functions, while building long-term value-based customer relationships to better achieve sales objectives. "European expansion is a key goal for Dolce in the years ahead," said David Anderson, Managing Director, Europe for Dolce Hotels and Resorts. "Karine's strong relationships with corporate and conference organizers, along with her knowledge of the area, will take our efforts to a whole new level." Pinson has a successful track record with Dolce Hotels and Resorts. She joined the company in 2006 as Director of Sales & Marketing at the Chantilly property and in 2010 was promoted to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Dolce Chantilly, La Hulpe and Sitges. Pinson joined Dolce from Concorde Hotels, where she worked from 2001-2006. She was first the Deputy Director of Sales for the 950-room Hotel Concorde La Fayette in Paris, where she handled international meetings and leisure accounts, and then she was promoted to Sales Director for the 266-room Hotel Concorde St. Lazare, Paris. Previously, Pinson was with Hotel Meridien, also in Paris, as Group Conference Sales Manager for the UK market. Born and raised in France, Pinson earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business at the Business School of Compiègne.
