Downtown Omaha, Nebraska Hilton Omaha Completes
$37 Million Dollar Enhancement Project

Adding a New Ballroom and 150 Guest Rooms for a New Total of 600

OMAHA, Neb.
- Downtown Omaha's premiere hotel has just received a makeover. Hilton Omaha recently completed the hotel's rejuvenation project to include 150 new guest rooms and an additional ballroom to accommodate larger groups and special events. All renovations were complete on March 1.

"Omaha is evolving into a world-class meeting and leisure destination - alive with energy and spirit," said Robert Watson, general manager, Hilton Omaha. "Hilton Omaha wanted to capture that energy and spirit and incorporate it into our renovations for an enhanced hotel experience. Our accommodations now include fresh elements that help our guests relax and recharge."

The number of guest rooms expanded from 450 to 600 to accommodate larger groups with a complete renovation of all guest rooms, parlors, suites and executive level. The multi-million rejuvenation project took more than a year to complete. "Our unique custom-designed touches convey a vibrant reflection of Omaha's culture and vitality," Watson said. "We really thought about our guests with this renovation by including improved guest room high-speed wireless internet access, comfortable guest room chairs, refrigerators and in-room safes."

The 7,000 square-foot Blackstone ballroom was also added with 3,500 square feet of pre-function space ideal for corporate gatherings, weddings and social events. The ballroom can be divided into two equal sections and features 20-foot ceilings with glass pendant-style chandeliers. The pre-function space presents natural floor-to-ceiling lighting and new artwork.

An additional 100 parking spaces were added to the existing parking structure and the lobby was transformed to feature modern décor and comfortable gathering spaces for guests. The full-service Health Club and Spa was refurbished complete with Precor equipment and saltwater pool. With a central downtown location providing convenient access to some of Omaha's exciting attractions, Hilton Omaha has a direct connection to the CenturyLink Center Omaha via an enclosed sky bridge and is only one block away from TD Ameritrade Park. The complimentary shuttle service provides transportation to and from Eppley Airport in addition to restaurants and attractions within a three-mile radius of the hotel.
