ATLANTA (March 27, 2012) –Dunwoody-based Hotel Equities (HE)  www.hotelequities.com recently named Brad Rahinsky to the position of Vice President of Operations.

Mr. Rahinsky’s responsibilities at the hotel development and management company include creating and administrating models for operational excellence.  He develops the criteria and guidelines for the company’s hiring practices for all associates and oversees the selection, training and mentoring of managers.

“Brad is an award-winning industry professional who brings experience in technology and e-commerce as well as operations to our firm,” said HE President and CEO Fred Cerrone.  “We will also benefit from his background in revenue management, sales and marketing.  He will be an outstanding asset to us.”

With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Mr. Rahinsky came to Hotel Equities form TIG Global/Micros, the travel industry leader in web site design, development and Internet marketing.  He served as the firm’s Regional Director with responsibility for the Southeastern United States as well as Latin and Central America.

Previous positions include Managing Partner at Performance Hospitality Group where he spent nearly five years overseeing all operations, sales and marketing for a six-hotel portfolio including Hilton and Hyatt brands.  He also served as Regional Director at TRAVELCLICK, the hospitality e-commerce leader. He oversaw sales for Georgia, North and South Carolina with a special focus on revenue generation for hotels and resorts through improved SEO, SEM, strategic linking website design and development as well as social media marketing and management.

Mr. Rahinsky holds a B.S. degree in Communication Arts with a minor in Marketing from the University of West Florida.  Residents of Braselton, Georgia, he and his wife Tricia are the parents of three children.
