NEW ORLEANS – (January 20, 2012) – Two of the “Big Easy’s” most popular and centrally located hotels announced range of property improvements that include the New Orleans-inspired WOW Café and PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans. The hotels, DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans and Hilton New Orleans Riverside, also introduced a collection of newly renovated guest rooms with new signage, amenities and enhanced touch points throughout the properties. “This has been brewing for some time and we are thrilled to offer our guests the passion of New Orleans soul and the comfort of home, “ said Fred Sawyers, complex general manager, the DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans and Hilton New Orleans Riverside. “We continue to upgrade and improve our properties to best suit the needs of our guests.  In a city such as New Orleans, which is both a tourist and convention destination, it’s paramount that we preserve our rich culture and at the same time offer our guests a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, conduct business and enjoy while in town,” Sawyers added.

DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans WOW’s Guests
As part of a new energy behind a global rebranding initiative underway by DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio of more than 265 hotels in 21 countries, the 367-room hotel on Canal Street converted the property to a 100 percent non-smoking facility as well as redesigned guest rooms and notably added WOW Café and PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans. The two Louisiana-inspired companies bring their passion of the city to their establishments, giving guests some Cajun heart and soul. WOW Café offers wings with 17 sauces, famous po-boys, wraps and burgers while every cup of PJ's coffee best represents their commitment to the legacy and culture of the Crescent City.  PJ’s will serve their classic blend of dark and medium roasted coffee beans and a variety of famous iced coffees as well as offer gift items and souvenirs for guests to take home the taste of this passionate and celebratory city.

Hotel guest rooms and suites feature king, queen/queen and double/double rooms with Sweet Dreams bedding, soothing Crabtree and Evelyn bath collection, and 32-inch flat screen HDTVs.   With over 15,000 square feet of flexible function space, including an elegant rooftop ballroom with panoramic views of the crescent city, DoubleTree by Hilton New Orleans is the perfect place for social gatherings.  The hotel’s dedicated staff is available to create a “turn-key” solution for any host.
