SHORES, Fla. (Jan. 26, 2012) – Effective Jan.
3, 2012, General Manager of The Shores Resort & Spa David Rijos was
named Area General Manager by Hospitality
Ventures Management Group (HVMG). In
addition to providing executive direction to The Shores, Rijos began
oversight
of the International Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando and
Cocoa
Beach, Fla. – two, new independent properties recently added to the
HVMG
collection.
A
30-year industry veteran, Rijos will leverage his skills and experience
to drive operations
and increase revenue at the above-mentioned hotels. Rijos began
his career with HVMG in May 2007
as the General Manager of the Embassy Suites in Dallas Park Central,
Texas.
In 2010, he was promoted to General Manager at The Shores Resort &
Spa
where he has led the team to two, simultaneous 4-Diamond ratings and
countless
area and industry awards across the spectrum of operations and sales.
