Lodging Associates is proud to announce that Amy Buzzell has
been brought on as director of sales for Courtyard by Marriott
Providence/Lincoln. The hotel located at 636 Washington Highway in
Lincoln,
Rhode Island. Buzzell joins Buffalo Lodging with more than 15 years of hospitality experience. Most recently, Amy was working as a sales task force member for Marriott hotels in the North Shore area of Massachusetts. Her prior experience includes area sales work for the Residence Inn Tudor Wharf and assistance with a $12 million renovation for a Holiday Inn in Brookline, Mass. In 2010, Buzzell started a non-for-profit organization, We Won’t Lay Down 2 Cancer, dedicated to supporting cancer research. She hosts an annual 5k race and has raised nearly $36,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. “We are very happy to have Amy as part of the Lincoln Courtyard team,” stated Mary Kirk, regional director of sales and marketing for Buffalo Lodging Associates. “She has an impressive background in sales and marketing with Marriott International and we look forward to her utilizing her talents at the hotel.” Amy is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, where she earned an AS in Hotel & Restaurant Management and a BS in Sales & Marketing. She currently resides in Franklin, Mass with her husband and two children. The 121-room hotel renovated with Courtyard’s “refreshing business” makeover in 2010.
