February 8, 2012 - Resort Data Processing, Inc, provider of quality property management software for hotels and resorts, is proud to announce that nine of its hotels were selected for the prestigious Condé Nast Awards for Excellence in 2012.

Condé Nast Johansens, the international luxury travel guides from the most trusted name in travel publishing, Condé Nast Publications Ltd., announced the winners of the 2012 Awards for Excellence. The winners of these prestigious awards were chosen as the top properties throughout the Americas, Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific Islands.

The winners were selected from an exclusive collection of luxury, boutique hotels, inns and resorts throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Atlantic, Caribbean and Pacific Islands.  The 2012 Awards for Excellence cover 28 categories, including Most Excellent Resort, Most Excellent Lodge, Most Excellent Eco Resort, and Most Excellent Romantic Hideaway.

Topping the list for Excellence from the Resort Data Processing portfolio was:  the Victoria House, in Belize for “Most Excellent Romantic Hideaway,” and the Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa, Vail Colorado for “Most Excellent Lodge.”  Both of these resorts were voted #1 in the respective categories for excellence.

Other properties from Resort Data Processing were also recognized by Conde Nast as “2011 Best in the World.”  Under the Small Resort category, The New Sheridan Hotel in Telluride Colorado (#4), Elizabeth Pointe Lodge in Amelia Island Florida (#6), and Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa (#18).  RDP also is represented well in Top Resorts in the Caribbean category.  Nisbet Plantation Beach Club in Nevis (#1), Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica (#9), Couples San Souci in Ocho Rios, Jamaica (#24), and Half Moon, Rose Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica (#30).
