Barcelona, 22th February 2012. Hotusa Group has just closed a joint venture deal with the hotel management company, Nobile Hotéis, for the purpose of initiating the running of hotel establishments in Brazil through its Eurostars Hotels chain. This way, the agreement through which the Spanish company possesses the majority share capital, will signify the landing of the Group at a destination where, as yet, it has no presence.
 
Currently under construction and with its opening date scheduled for May 2013, the Eurostars Brisas Do Lago, situated on the shores of the Paranoa Lake in Brasilia, will be the new company’s first hotel project to be launched. The complex, which will be a five-star category establishment, will comprise 750 luxury suites, equipped with the most up-to-date technological apparatus and set in a privileged water park, with views of the famous JK bridge and close to a golf club.
 
In the words of Hotusa Group Chairman, Amancio López Seijas, “Betting on Brazil is based on the dimension and capacity that the destination offers, a fact that makes it a strategic market for us”. In addition, López adds that, “When this joint venture reaches its cruising speed, we expect to grow at a rate of 15 hotels per year”. He continues, “Also, taking advantage of the synergies of this agreement, we are already beginning an ambitious development plan through Hotusa Hotels, to promote our activity as hotel representatives, by means of which we hope to achieve a very significant number of associated establishments in this country”.
 
At the present time and in addition to the establishment already under construction, hotel developments are being negotiated in Sao Paulo, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Salvador de Bahía and Manaos.
