Louvre Hotels Group Continues International Growth

Eastern Europe a Key Component

October 2011 - Louvre Hotels Group opens the Golden Tulip Warsaw and announces its ambitions for Eastern Europe.

Louvre Hotels Group is committed to continuing its ambitious international development plan, a key part of which is Eastern Europe, and particularly Poland, where the region’s first Golden Tulip opened its doors in Warsaw on 29 September. The new Golden Tulip is part of a three-hotel complex located in the heart of the capital city.

The Group is currently planning to open 12 new hotels in Eastern Europe by late 2012.

New hotels are currently under construction in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland, making more than 1,000 additional rooms available soon under the Campanile and Première Classe brands.

Six new Campanile hotels will also open in major cities in Ukraine, host of EURO 2012, offering choice accommodations to the large number of foreign visitors attending the championship.

Romania now has five Golden Tulip hotels as well as a Tulip Inn.

Louvre Hotels Group is also considering possible investments in Serbia and the Baltic countries for additional openings starting in 2013.

China: Louvre Hotels Group signs a major contract with Landev Real Estate & Development Co. Ltd. of Hangzhou,
giving it access to the dynamic market in this rapidly growing city.

Louvre Hotels Group is pleased to announce the signature of a management contract with its partner in Hangzhou, Landev Real Estate & Development Co. Ltd. This contract will give the Group an entry into the city’s flourishing tourism market, with a flagship hotel slated to open in 2013.

The Group will then continue its development in China’s largest tourist destination areas and cities with three different brands, ranging from 3 to 5 stars: Tulip Inn, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip Luxury Hotels.􀀁 It will continue to expand by working in close collaboration with various local partners under management contracts.

China is a key development region for Louvre Hotels Group, given the strong growth potential of the country’s tourism and business sectors. Introducing the Louvre Hotels Group brands in China will also make them more familiar to Chinese tourists traveling to Europe and throughout the world.

Brazil – Management contract signed for the Golden Tulip in Belo Horizonte


A new Golden Tulip will soon be opening in Brazil!

On 6 September, Brazilian company BHG S.A. (Brazil Hospitality Group) announced to its shareholders and the market the signing of an agreement with Cesto Participações S.A. to manage a hotel in Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais. The new, 4-star Golden Tulip hotel is currently in design and should open its doors in the first quarter of 2013.

The hotel, located in the heart of Belo Horizonte, will house 396 rooms and a complete business travel complex, including a 6,500 m² convention center, two restaurants serving international cuisine, and a helicopter landing pad. For guests looking to relax, the hotel will also offer a pool, gym and full spa.
