newest resort in more
than a decade, the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort is pleased to announce
the
appointment of Ilyse Prokocimer-Karwoski as director of sales and
marketing. Prokocimer-Karwoski will lead the resort’s sales
efforts in
the North American market.

Ms.
Prokocimer-Karwoski joins the Magdalena team after
five years as the regional director of sales for Driftwood Hospitality
Management, overseeing the Caribbean resort portfolio. Other
prior
experience includes directing the development and operation of the
Bahamas/Caribbean program as the vice president of Gate 1 Travel and
leading Prokocimer
International Enterprises, Inc., a wholesale travel/airline hybrid, as
president and CEO/COO. Prokocimer-Karwoski has been involved in
organizations such as American Society of Travel Agents, Caribbean
Hotel &
Tourism Association and Caribbean Tourism Organization, among others.
