Renovation Complete at the 250-acre 112-room
Resort at Tapatio Springs in Boerne, Texas

BOERNE, Texas, Nov. 15, 2011-- At 11:11 on November 11th, George and Norma Strait and Tom and Silvia Cusick hosted the ribbon cutting and grand reveal of the newly-renovated 250-acre Resort at Tapatio Springs. Guests had the opportunity to see the resort's magnificent restorations firsthand — and the event was a true success.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Strait and Cusick detailed the many changes that have taken place since renovations began in April 2011 and discussed the future of Tapatio Springs. Original developer Clyde B. Smith was present as well and spoke about the initial development of the resort 30 years ago. Boerne Mayor Mike Schultz also made a special appearance at the ceremony.

"We were thrilled to officially unveil the new look, feel and flavors of Tapatio," Strait said. "Tom and I have worked hard to create the perfect Texas Hill Country resort, and we look forward to hosting golfers, families and friends, and the community as they experience all that Tapatio Springs has to offer."

Over the past several months, the property has transformed into a true Texas masterpiece. The first major project focused on the 112-room hotel, as the tired facility was in desperate need of a renewed look. It is now the perfect Hill Country escape. The entire resort underwent a complete exterior renovation which included more than 1,000 tons of rock and columns. Additionally, the fully-revamped golf pro shop features items that appeal to both men and women — converting the space into a charming Hill Country boutique.

Strait and Cusick also concentrated on revamping the flavors of Tapatio Springs. The golf course now includes Five Points Grill — a comfort station in the center of the course where golfers can choose from a menu of freshly-made items and refreshments.

The culinary highlight of the resort is La Cascada restaurant. Surrounded by views of spectacular, soothing waterfalls, La Cascada embodies everything brilliant about the Texas Hill Country. The restaurant's Head of Food and Beverage Sarah Justice developed an expanded menu of fine wines, cocktails, entrees and specialty features. The restaurant is open to the public and is the prime setting for soaking in the Hill Country scenery.

"We've taken Tapatio Springs to a level it's never seen before," Cusick said. "And this is only the beginning."
