Waterford Hotel Group Appoints Lisa McIntyre as Director of Sales for the
120-room Residence Inn by Marriott in Hartford, Connecticut


Hartford, CT (November 15, 2011) --- The Residence Inn by Marriott in Hartford, CT recently welcomed Lisa McIntyre to the position of Director of Sales for the 120-room hotel in downtown Hartford. The Residence Inn is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm.

As Director of Sales, McIntyre will be responsible for the total sales effort of the hotel, including developing and maintaining new accounts, supervising sales related personnel, and implementing sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. McIntyre joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2007 as Executive Meetings Manager for the Marriott Hartford Downtown, and was promoted two years later to her most recent position serving as Sales Manager for Waterford’s hotel portfolio in Hartford, CT. Her previous hospitality experience includes working as Event Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Waterbury, CT and Sales Manager/Front Office Manager for the Best Western – Black Rock Inn in Fairfield, CT.

McIntyre holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She currently resides in Waterbury, CT.
