Moving Mountains Chalets in Steamboat Springs, Colorado specializes in luxury vacation lodging and hospitality services. “With our many five star properties and personal concierge services for each guest, the RDP Software was a perfect fit for our company,” said Robin Craigen, Owner and President of Moving Mountains. “RDP was willing to make custom changes to their software to fit our unique needs; no other software providers were able to offer us this service.”
The Solsten Hotel in Trenton, North Dakota is a brand new facility that was built to help support the influx of oil workers in North Dakota. With over 300 units and a variety of billing requirements, the RDP Software was the logical choice for software. “The Sales Team at RDP took a lot of time researching our clientele and the unique needs necessary for our type of property,” said Curt Dodd, Company Controller for SolstenXP. “RDP took the time to mock up an Internet Booking Site for us, customize screens and reports and were very open and receptive to making changes that fit our needs.”
Resort Data Processing has been providing Property Management Software to hotels and resorts since 1981. With a very strong 2nd and 3rd Quarter of 2011, RDP has positioned itself for their 30th straight profitable year. “Since our very first sale in 1981, our company has remained profitable,” says Barry Biegler, Founder and President of RDP. “What makes that so important is that RDP gets to pass along this success to our customers in the form of lower software and support prices.” Biegler also looks ahead to ensure that RDP’s past success continues well into the future. “With the addition of both new sales and the continuous improvements being provided to our existing customers, RDP decided to add four new Support Techs this year. With the addition of our new Mobile Devices Module that allows access to our software via Smart Phones or Tablets, and our new employees, RDP feels very confident that our 2012 year will be one of our best.”
