Amadeus Enhances its Hotel Revenue Management Solution with Unmatched Market Intelligence Capabilities

Amadeus enriches its hotel Revenue Management solution with the addition of a Market Pricing feature that provides extensive rate information from the Amadeus system and web rate shoppers

December 2, 2011 - Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry announces today the launch of Market Pricing. This additional feature complements the Amadeus Revenue Management solution and provides hoteliers with unique market intelligence insights.

Market Pricing combines publicly available rate information from both major web rate shoppers and the Amadeus system enabling hotel revenue managers to have a holistic view of the market through the analysis of price trends, price fluctuations and benchmarks. Market Pricing thus provides an unprecedented opportunity to compute even more accurate rate recommendations with a unique view of the marketplace. As a result, hoteliers stay ahead of the game. They can understand and react quickly to the complex factors that influence markets and customers' behaviour, and respond rapidly to optimise the hotel inventory and rates.

This patent pending innovation is an industry-first which give hoteliers the right tools and technology to navigate a business environment that is becoming more demanding every day.

"In this highly competitive industry, there is a growing demand for intelligence products that permit hoteliers to track market trends and react quickly" commented Jérôme Destors, Director, Amadeus Hotel IT. "Using advanced forecasting models combined with detailed booking data and market trends, the Amadeus Revenue Management solution innovates with unique technology evolution giving hoteliers another competitive advantage to maximise their hotel revenue contribution."

The Market Pricing feature is available as an optional module for Amadeus Revenue Management solution customers. More information about the solution, offer and configurations can be found at http://www.amadeus.com/hotelit/hotel-revenue-management.html
