NEW YORK – Sept. 7, 2011 – Deemed Grand Dame of Madison Avenue and standing stately since 1924, The Roosevelt Hotel, NYC accelerates progress of the multi-million dollar upgrade and redesign program started earlier this year and by this November, the project will be in full swing. Slated for completion in February 2012, the 1,015 guestrooms and suites will be completely refreshed with new carpeting, furniture, fixtures and décor, designed by Dyami Architecture Inc. The hotel’s lobby-level Madison Club Lounge will also be revamped with everything from new NYC-styled furnishings, carpeting and artwork to a granite-top bar installed beneath new, chic lighting. Maintaining its legendary heritage in the heart of Midtown while providing the finest contemporary amenities, the hotel’s spacious suites and guest rooms will be equipped with all new furniture, fixtures, guestroom and corridor carpeting, as well as new artwork in each room capturing historic images of The Roosevelt Hotel in 1924. Each room will also be refreshed with an accent wall, creating a comforting, home-like ambience. The enhancements are designed to also compliment the already meticulously restored interiors of the hotel, featuring signature architecture of the 1920s, particularly showcased in the grand lobby. As stated by Kevin Croke, director of sales and marketing, “This renovation creates an ideal experience for guests and is the icing on the cake for the hotel, as it follows numerous improvements over the recent years including new flat screen TVs, wireless wifi and new guest beds in all rooms – as well as two new thriving establishments, Vander Bar and mad46 Rooftop Lounge.” For more information, call The Roosevelt Hotel toll free at 888-TEDDY-NY or visit www.theroosevelthotel.com.
