September 7, 2011 - Marriott International, Inc. announced the opening of the newest gem in its Renaissance Hotels portfolio with the opening of the Renaissance Tlemcen Hotel, in the ancient city of Tlemcen, in northwestern Algeria.
Newly opened in the city of Tlemcen, a city steeped in the arts and history, the Renaissance Tlemcen Hotel offers panoramic views of the city from the exceptional viewing point of Plateau Lalla Setti. The new building, designed with an Arab-Moorish feel, rests perfectly within the context of the architectural tradition of the region, offering 204 luxuriously equipped rooms and suites. Customers may also enjoy the hotels unique amenities which include a fine dining restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center, Spa, Hammam and outdoor tennis court.
