appointment of Ken Stone as General Manager of Gateway Canyons Resort
&
Spa. Stone will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations
of
Gateway Canyons, located southwest of Grand Junction in Gateway,
Colorado.
Boasting more than 20 years of experience in resort operations and management, with a background in integrated marketing for a wide range of products and services, Stone most recently held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Previously, Stone held the position of Senior Vice President for Telluride Ski & Golf Resort, where he was responsible for all commercial operations. Stone entered the hospitality field as Vice President of Durango Ski Corporation in Durango, Colorado, followed by a position as Director of Sales & Marketing for Sheraton Tamarron Resort, also located in Durango, then held a similar position at The Peaks Resort & Golden Door Spa in Telluride, Colorado.
