EXETER, NH. September 26, 2011 – Hay Creek Hotels announced today its acquisition of the historic Exeter Inn in Exeter, New Hampshire.

The Exeter Inn is located directly on the campus of the prestigious Philips Exeter Academy and was completely restored in 2007. The Inn offers 46 upscale guest rooms & suites with flat panel HD televisions, plush pillow top beds with exquisite linens and down comforters surrounded by distinctive fabrics and beautiful furnishings. It also has state of the art meeting and conference facilities for corporate meetings, weddings and private functions. The full service independent hotel caters to business travelers, visitors to Philips Exeter Academy and destination leisure clientele.

Hay Creek also operates hotels near Williams College, St. Paul's School and Brewster Academy. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Epoch Restaurant, located on the main floor of the Inn has received popular and critical acclaim, to include “Best of New Hampshire” by N.H. Magazine and the Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” as well as numerous other outstanding culinary awards. The totally redesigned bar and restaurant embraces the best produce, meats, game & seafood from local farms and vendors. Menus will often change daily to allow the kitchen team to create fresh signature dishes.
