Innovations, announced today the promotion of Executive Chef Dan Moore
to
Director of Operations/Catering at the hotel to provide an improved
experience
to its clients and guests.
In his new role, Moore will oversee all operations within the catering department, as well as remain in creative control of all menu offerings and event logistics. Moore brings a breadth of culinary knowledge and global fusion to his role with The DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville-Biltmore and Dining Innovations. He was raised overseas, having lived in Bangkok, Thailand, the Phillippines and Milan, Italy. Moore earned a B.S. in Food Management and an A.O.S. in Culinary Arts from the prestigious Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. He has worked in a variety of culinary capacities throughout the United States, including stints as Executive Chef at Pacific & Vine in Atlanta, Ga., Cino Grille in Charlotte, N.C. and Blue Corn Grill in Harbor Springs, Minn. Moore has been with Dining Innovations since 2008. “It is a very exciting time in my career, the opportunity to create all of the foods that I grew up loving and then some, along with the added challenge of overseeing all daily operations for Dining Innovations will truly test and improve my skill set,” stated Moore.
