development and 3rd party
management company, is proud to announce that William (Bill) Hines has
been
brought on as general manager for the Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel
currently
under development in the Town of Canton, MA. The new hotel is located
16 miles
south of Boston at 50 Royall Street in Canton, Massachusetts. This will
be the
first hotel to open in the Town of Canton. Mr. Hines first joined Buffalo Lodging in 2006 as a regional vice president, a position he held until 2009 when he left to pursue other opportunities. In 2011, he re-joined the company to oversee general manager positions at hotels where there had been a recent vacancy. Most recently, Bill served as interim general manager for the Homewood Suites Holyoke/Springfield-North hotel. Bill’s previous experience includes eight years with Marriott International as the Vice President of Development Asset Management for International Lodging, and the Vice President of Finance for the Northeast Region. From 1983 to 1998, Bill held similar positions with the ITT Sheraton Corporation in Boston. “We are very happy to have Bill as general manager of the new Homewood Suites Boston/Canton. He has an extensive hospitality background and great knowledge about the Boston market. His leadership skills are exactly what we need to open the hotel successfully”, stated Kimberly Tobias, regional vice president of operations. The 4-story, 98-suite Homewood Suites Boston/Canton hotel will feature all-suite, extended-stay accommodations featuring a bedroom, office, and living room area, plus a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances standard in every suite. Guests will enjoy a daily complimentary full hot breakfast in the hotel’s Lodge, and a 24-hour on-site Suite Shop® will be available for necessities, snacks and beverages. Monday through Thursday evenings a complimentary dinner with drinks will be provided in the Lodge. The hotel will also feature a 24-hour business center, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and an indoor heated pool and whirlpool spa.
