HSMAI Needs Your Input to Establish Web Analytics Report Card

 "Understanding How Hoteliers Use and Benefit from Website Analytics" Survey Establishes Benchmarks


Jacksonville, FL (July 20, 2011) HSMAI and VIZERGY have teamed up and want to hear from hoteliers in the survey “Understanding How Hoteliers Use and Benefit from Website Analytics.”  The survey data will help form benchmarks for the digital metrics your peers are keeping a close watch over and how they are taking action on those metrics, all to be released in a September best practices white paper.  The survey, which can be taken here, is available through Wednesday, July 27.  Survey respondents will be the first to receive the September white paper.
 
As hotel Internet marketing has become more complex - with more channels, emerging technology and the increase of user generated content - so have web analytics.  Tracking and monitoring the metrics that come from those channels, technology and content has become a time consuming challenge within itself.  How do you track?  How often do you review the data?  What data-driven decisions do you make that benefit your property?  Those are all questions to be addressed in the paper.
