Department of Commerce today announced a request for proposals (RFP)
from
vendors for the administration of the Survey
of International Air Travelers (Survey) program. The Office of Travel
and Tourism Industries’ (OTTI) goal is to improve the current Survey
program
which has been in existence since 1983. The U.S. government’s objective is to assess the economic impact of international visitation, from passengers who travel to the United States, and those traveling from the United States, during a calendar year.
