New York (BDNY), the event that brought hospitality design back to New
York
with its 2010 debut, has attracted noteworthy new companies to the 2011
fair,
taking place November 13-14 at the Javits Center North in New York
City.
The newcomers will complement the mix of 200 established suppliers and
emerging
vendors, all showcasing their latest unique, trend-setting designs. Among the additions to BDNY are Brintons (carpeting), Chella Textiles (outdoor fabrics), Emeco (seating), Fire Farm Lighting (lighting), Flexsteel (furniture), Hansgrohe (bathroom fixtures), Hunter Douglas Contract (window coverings), Lily Jack (furniture), Material ConneXion (material solutions), and Sifas (outdoor furniture). A complete list of BDNY exhibitors is available at www.BDNY.com. “The momentum behind BDNY is tremendous, which is evident by the significant industry players confirming participation,” said Michael Schneider, publisher of Boutique Design. “BDNY is on track to grow by 50 percent in 2011, and will continue to feature a carefully-edited selection of exhibitors, offering our 5,000 anticipated attendees a product mix not found at other trade fairs.” BDNY will run Sunday, November 13, and Monday, November 14, 2011, featuring manufacturers of high-end, unique and innovative design products for hospitality, including furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, seating, accessories, artwork, carpet and flooring, materials, bath and spa. The fair will draw some 5,000 interior designers, architects and purchasing executives, along with crossover participation from hospitality property owners and operators in attendance at the adjacent International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS). The 96th annual IHMRS will run Saturday, November 12, through Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Following a full day of conference and networking activities on Saturday, November 12, the IHMRS will feature three full days of exhibits from Sunday, November 13, through Tuesday, November 15. The market presents some 700 hospitality industry suppliers and attracts 30,000 in total trade attendance.
