Frausto will direct the resort’s AAA Four Diamond fine dining restaurant, Arrecifes, as well as event dining and room service. He will also manage all food and beverage operations, including food production, menu planning, new recipe development and overseeing a staff of 70 professionals.

During his 14-year career, Frausto has brought his talents to top
restaurants and hotels around the world, but returns to his homeland
position at The Westin Resort & Spa, Los Cabos. He most
served as the executive chef of the 544-room Renaissance Yangtze
in China, where he oversaw food and pastry production, set the standard
kitchen operation, revamped the menus for all nine hotel restaurants
managed the opening of a new restaurant, BLD. Frausto has also
the executive sous chef for the Doha Marriott Hotel in Qatar, sous chef
charge of Mexican cuisine for the Intercontinental Jordan in Amman,
chef at the Michelin-rated Restaurant Gilles Etéocle at the
Hostellerie La Poulard in Montrond-Les-Baines, France.
