Dallas, TEXAS (August 23, 2011) – Aimbridge Hospitality, one of the nation’s leading independent hotel investment and management firms, today announced that it now manages the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma, which is owned by the city of Midwest City. This property represents Aimbridge’s thirteenth Starwood branded asset and the 75th hotel in their current portfolio of hotels located across the United States and Caribbean.

The 151-guestroom hotel, which opened in 2006, is connected to the newly opened Reed Conference Center and includes 13,780 square feet of inside event space, 6,000 square feet of exhibit hall space and 13,000 square feet of pre-function space, as well as outside event space. Located less than seven minutes from the Oklahoma City Bricktown entertainment district, the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel is the only facility in Oklahoma that is approved by the International Association of Conference Centers. The hotel offers wireless high-speed Internet, Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds and plasma televisions in each of the guest rooms, and also features the Emerald Restaurant & Bar, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at the Reed Conference Center is Aimbridge’s latest addition to their growing portfolio, and Aimbridge is thrilled to manage another conference center hotel.

“The Sheraton Midwest City Hotel is one of the top business and conference centers in the Oklahoma City market, and we are excited to be working with Midwest City to manage this asset,” said Aimbridge Hospitality President and CEO Dave Johnson. “As with all of Aimbridge Hospitality’s managed properties and their owners and investors, our goal at the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel is to deliver the best possible experience to our guest while maximizing profits for our client.”

“We are delighted to partner with Aimbridge Hospitality and their exceptional track record and experience in the hospitality industry with conference center facilities,” said Tim Lyon, Assistant City Manager for Midwest City. “Aimbridge Hospitality has a proven track record as an excellent and reputable management partner and we believe that their level of expertise will bring significant value to this investment for the city.”
