Robert McPherrin Named Director
of Sales and Marketing
of Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas
DALLAS, Texas – [May 30, 2011] – Robert (Bob) McPherrin has been appointed to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing of the legendary Hilton Anatole. As the leader of this critical team, McPherrin will oversee all aspects of the sales and marketing initiatives of the Four Diamond hotel, the largest in the Hilton Worldwide brand in terms of meeting space. The 600,000-sq. ft., 1,606-room property has recently completed a $125 million renovation and is completing an additional $2.3 million enclosed and air-conditioned passageway connecting hotel and convention guests with the Trinity Ballroom and Exhibit Hall spaces.

McPherrin has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry including 20 years in hospitality sales. Previously serving as Assistant Executive Director at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at the Gaylord Texan, Executive Director of Hotel Marketing at the MGM – Mirage, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hotel Inter-Continental Chicago, and additional positions with Fairmont, Hilton, Marriott and Regents Hotels. McPherrin graduated from Loyola University of Chicago and completed a Master of Education degree at the University of Illinois and is an Associate Professor at Collin College in Dallas.
