May 2011 -- Ms Mazy Cheng has been named Director of Human
Resources of Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers, one of the leading
hotels
in Hong Kong with 782 well-appointed rooms and suites and approximately
600
employees. Mazy brings to the flagship Sheraton in Hong Kong with her 15 years of experience in Human Resources. She first started her career in the hospitality industry in 1996 as Assistant Human Resources Manager at Hotel Nikko Hong Kong. She then moved to InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong as Director of Human Resources in 2001. Mazy now moves forward to join Sheraton Hong Kong where she oversees the hotel’s human resources operations including recruitment, employee training & development, HR success planning and employee relations. “It is a highly exciting time to join Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel & Towers – one of Starwood’s flagship hotels in the world. I look forward to further contributing to the success of the hotel,” said Mazy. Mazy received her bachelor degree from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia. She enjoys travelling, playing lawn bowl and hiking in her leisure time.
