Jennie Hoffman Promoted
to Area Director of Sales & Marketing
COSTA MESA, CA, May 25, 2011 – Hotel industry veteran and award-winning marketer Jennie Hoffman has been named an area director of sales & marketing, Los Angeles for Starwood’s Western Region. She will continue to serve as director of sales & marketing for The Westin South Coast Plaza, a post she came to in 2009.
The list of hotels she will oversee includes the W Los Angeles, the W Hollywood, the SLS Beverly Hills, The Westin Los Angeles Airport and the Sheraton Fairplex Pomona.

Previously, Jennie served as director of Marriott’s Orange County regional sales office overseeing a group sales department for 26 Marriott hotels in Orange County. Prior to this position, she opened the Seattle Marriott Waterfront, the first full service Marriott hotel in downtown Seattle where she held a director of sales and marketing position for 5 years. She first joined Starwood in 1997 as Senior Account Executive for the Westin Seattle and rejoined the company when she moved back to Southern California in 2007. Her experience also includes director of sales & marketing for several hotel companies including Hyatt and Beverly Plaza Hotel in West Hollywood, California and the Bristol Suites in Plano, Texas.
She attended LTC College in Eastbourne, England, then transferred to Northrop University in Southern California and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems. She transferred to Pepperdine University to complete her Master’s Degree in Marketing with a minor in Communications.
