Cook brings more than 22 years of experience in the areas of corporate sales and conference management to the resort where she will handle sales for the Southeast portion of the country. She rejoins Cheyenne Mountain Resort after spending two years at the Double Tree World Arena Hotel, also located in Colorado Springs, as the group sales manager and the BTS sales manager. During her time at Double Tree, Cook consistently exceeded her sales goals and played an essential role in increasing revenue for the hotel. Prior to her time at Double Tree, Cook was responsible for increasing sales growth at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and utilized her passion for sales, booking business and maintaining loyal clients as the conference coordination manager and then as the group sales manager. She was nominated for the 2003 Corporate “CMP” Sales Award and the 2005 Sales Executive of the Year, and she was given the 2004 Bull Dog Sales Award and 2001 Rookie of the Year Award during her tenure at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
