Miami, FL – April 29, 2011 -- The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort announced the appointment of Brigette Bienvenu as director of sales and marketing effective immediately, according to hotel General Manager, Andreas Ioannou. Bienvenu joins the 373-room hotel after her recent post as director of sales and marketing at the Doubletree by Hilton Grand Biscayne Bay in Miami.
Bienvenu began her hospitality career in 2000, advancing through various sales and catering sales positions in the New Orleans market. In 2005, she joined the Doubletree Grand Hotel Biscayne Bay in Miami as a sales manager and was promoted to the director of sales and marketing position in July 2007. Among her many business accomplishments, Bienvenu helped lead her team to win the 2007 Circle of Excellence “Hotel Team of the Year” and also was named the 2009 Circle of Excellence “Director of Sales & Marketing of the Year.”
She earned her undergraduate degree in communication studies from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. On her own time, she enjoys cycling, running, kickboxing, the beach, theatre, dance and spending quality time with friends.
