Trust Reports Revenue Growth, Introduces New Products
and Gains New Customers in First Half of 2011

Frankfurt - June 20, 2011Trust International reports a successful first half of 2011, posting a 15% increase in hotel bookings through its international centralized reservation system (CRS), adding numerous clients and launching new products in the first six months.  Trust and its customers posted excellent bookings results in May and the beginning of June that are building robust momentum as the Company heads into the second half of 2011. Many hoteliers who recently attended Trust International’s Customer Conference in Dubai posted double-digit gains in bookings and revenues in the first half of 2011 and are forecasting sizeable increases for the remainder of the year.

Trust’s bookings data closely mirrors the distribution trend reported from a study by STR and American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) at the AH&LA Summer Summit last week that showed the online travel agency-merchant/retail channel accounts for 4.6% of total demand and 4.3% of revenue, and the OTA-opaque channel accounts for 2% of demand and 1.2% of revenue.   Additionally Trust’s data also closely agreed with the AH & LA report that the OTA-opaque channel showed the greatest average daily rate (ADR) increase of all the channels in 2010 versus 2009 with a 2.3% growth rate. Total U.S. ADR growth in 2010 was 1.9%.

Supporting the New Products and Enhancements
At the upcoming Hitec conference in Austin, Tex, Trust will reveal preliminary details about its new products including, the new IBE for corporate bookings and Trust|Data, a new data exchange initiative that covers CRM integrations, reservation data feeds, customized confirmation, mobile booker integrations and the brand new CRO module for hotel groups own reservation offices.

To best serve the ever-changing needs of the hotel and hospitality industry, Trust has developed several new products and made improvements to its yourVoyager CRS to offer the most advanced technology available that helps increase productivity and bookings.  Following are highlights of the first half of 2011:

  1. Google program - The highlight of 2011 has been the launch of the Google Program.  Trust is the first CRS provider offering its hotel groups a way to display hotel rates and availability with the search results in Google Maps.  The new application programming interface allows for real-time sharing of rates and availability directly from the hotel groups’ web sites as the customers do travel research within Google Maps.  .  For more info, visit http://www.trustinternational.com/trustinternational/googleprogram.htm
  1. Amadeus Multi-Room Booking and Shopping  -  the new functionality of the GDS enables travel agents to book as many as nine rooms at a time as well as request hotel availability display and pricing.
  1. Trust|Corporate - Trust’s new corporate internet booking engine (IBE) allows hotel groups to better manage individual corporate accounts with low- or medium-size volumes. It gives corporate partners access to negotiated rates and allows them to make new bookings, change prior bookings or access reports on their activities across their company
Trust was the first CRS to deliver localized booking engines with complete support and now the latest generation of IBE Booker 3 is under development and garnering significant interest from hotel groups all over the world

  1. Improvements in Trust’s yourVoyager CRS showcase the latest CRS technology available in the market, including:
  • More Languages - The latest versions introduced have been in German and Japanese, with the Japanese version supporting Japanese names including transliteration
  • Pre and Post Stay E-mails - Implemented to support hotel group marketing campaigns.
  • Flexible Contracted Commissions – Now possible on travel agency level.
  • More Pricing Templates - Number of pricing templates has increased from 26 to 234 individual templates.
  • Multilingual Room and Rate Descriptions – now fully supported on channel and partner level for booking engine and OTA partners.
New Customers and Direct Connects
Trust has already announced the six new customers in the first half of the year:

  • Barcelo Hotels, which operates more than 180 hotels in 17 countries and 450 travel agencies in 23 countries.
  • Classic British Hotels, a leading, quality hotel group with around 90 independent hotels within the UK and growing.
  • Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, which currently has more than 100 hotels and 36,000 rooms, in 14 countries around the world
  • Balkan Hotels, where Trust will be supporting 30 Balkan Hotels in Bulgaria. 
  • Vitale Hotels with more than 120 hotels.
  • Safir Hotels, 11 hotels in the Middle East
Already a leader in online travel agency (OTA) connectivity, Trust will be adding approximately 20 more direct connects in 2011, including Tourico, Tablet, Hotel.info, GTA, Unister, TravelSky and TL Lincoln.

Other partnerships reached by Trust this year include an extended agreement with TrustYou, the hotel industry’s first online guest satisfaction survey solution that offers a complete 360 degree view on hotels’ guest reviews, combining post-stay reviews and social media analysis in a single tool.

Trust entered new agreements with Lanyon that will interface Trust’s yourVoyager CRS and Lanyon’s contracting tool, Lanyon RFP Content Control Center, to speed up data loading and simplify the rate loading process. Trust also recently joined with VFM Leonardo to provide its hotel clients with a direct interface to manage hotel images and distribute them to electronic booking channels.
