Trust Reports Revenue Growth, Introduces New Products

International reports a successful first half of 2011,
posting a 15% increase in hotel bookings through its international
centralized
reservation system (CRS), adding numerous clients and launching new
products in
the first six months. Trust and its
customers posted excellent bookings results in May and the beginning of
June
that are building robust momentum as the Company heads into the second
half of
2011. Many hoteliers who recently attended Trust International’s
Customer
Conference in Dubai posted double-digit gains in bookings and revenues
in the
first half of 2011 and are forecasting sizeable increases for the
remainder of
the year. Trust’s bookings data closely mirrors the distribution trend reported from a study by STR and American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) at the AH&LA Summer Summit last week that showed the online travel agency-merchant/retail channel accounts for 4.6% of total demand and 4.3% of revenue, and the OTA-opaque channel accounts for 2% of demand and 1.2% of revenue. Additionally Trust’s data also closely agreed with the AH & LA report that the OTA-opaque channel showed the greatest average daily rate (ADR) increase of all the channels in 2010 versus 2009 with a 2.3% growth rate. Total U.S. ADR growth in 2010 was 1.9%. “The first half of the year has been very promising for Trust and many hotel groups in our client base,” says Richard Wiegmann, Managing Director, Trust International. “Our international growth is accelerating and we are on track for achieving our growth goals in the developing Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern regions.
