Willemstad, Curaçao – June 2011 – Shirley Geerman has been named General Manager of Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club, a one-of-a-kind property located on the cliffs and beaches of Curaçao’s west end.

As General Manager of the exclusive Lodge Kura Hulanda, Geerman’s responsibilities include day-to-day physical and financial operations of the property, as well as constructing and implementing service training programs. Geerman will continue to enhance the Lodge’s reputation as a premier, service-oriented resort providing discerning travelers with once in a lifetime experiences.

Geerman brings more than 25 years of international hospitality experience to Lodge Kura Hulanda.  Born on the neighboring island of Aruba, Geerman began her career in hotel management at the front desk of the Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. Over the course of her career, Geerman also served in various management positions at Wyndham Aruba Beach Resort and Renaissance Aruba Hotel & Casino before moving to Curaao and joining Kura Hulanda where she climbed through the ranks – starting as a front office agent and passing through all the various departments until her current promotion to the position of General Manager of Lodge Kura Hulanda.
