Centerstone Hotel Brand Rapidly Exceeding Growth Expectations

Franchise company has added multiple contracts to its portfolio since its launch
two weeks ago; Seven license agreements have been executed with another
15 deals in the pipeline -- including one new construction hotel


Birmingham, Ala. — June 21, 2011 — Steve Belmonte, CEO and Owner of Centerstone Inns, Hotels and Plaza Hotels -- hospitality's newest hotel brand -- is pleased to announce that the launch has far exceeded corporate expectations with seven license agreements executed and another 15 deals in the pipeline. None of these deals reflect Key West Inn property conversions in process, and one involves a new construction facility that will break ground in two weeks.

With operations offices in Birmingham, Ala., and development headquarters in Orlando, the new Centerstone Inns, Hotels and Plaza Hotels brand was developed by Belmonte and hoteliers Neal and Cory Jackson to remove any unreasonable terms and mandates on franchisees. Several Key West Inn properties are converting as anticipated, however the immediate activity is conversion from other flags independent of Key West Inns.

"We knew that Centerstone would be successful, but never imagined there would be such immediate and widespread interest among franchisees looking to convert their existing hotels to Centerstone," Belmonte said. "This brand has taken off like a rocket, and to say that we are thrilled with its immediate success is an understatement. It's apparent that today's hotel owners are looking for a franchise partner that has their best interests' in mind. Therefore, we anticipate adding at least 20 hotels to our portfolio in addition to the Key West Inn conversions. In fact, in two weeks we will break ground on the first new construction Centerstone hotel in Ohio and will be announcing our first all-suite location in Texas.

Centerstone Plaza Hotels uphold a minimum AAA four-diamond-like rating, complete with an on-site restaurant and lounge, meeting and function space, fitness center, business center, in-room coffee and more. All participate in the "Certified Clean" room program.
