YHS is able to bring added value to companies who are trying to understand how they can improve their image as employers. The YHS Hotel Company Employer Report shows what young talents value in terms of employment and where efforts and resources need to be invested in order to increase attraction and retention of young talents. The YHS Hotel Company Specific Report can be provided upon request for those companies listed in the rankings. These reports detail how a specific company is perceived as to it’s employment performance and compares this information with it’s competitors, elaborating in detail how young talents perceive a specific company with respect to career opportunities, empowerment, overall compensation package etc. YHS is very grateful for the sponsorship from Expedia as well as for the support from the following partners: Represented
hospitality schools in the YHS Hotel Company Employer Ranking 2011:
What is YHS? YHS began as an annual event at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in 2010. It was the first entirely student run hospitality Summit, bringing together leading hospitality management schools from around the globe. YHS has now grown into an association, addressing the gap between Educational Institutions, the Hospitality Industry and its Young Talents. The different features of YHS, which follow the distinct YHS approach, tackle pertinent employment related questions. They all pursue the same mission of improving professional opportunities of young talents in hospitality by aligning its three main stakeholders regarding their mutual expectations, capacities and aspirations. |
