Hadjmohammadreza as the property’s new general manager. With more than
20 years
of extensive hospitality industry experience, Jahangir effectively
oversees all
departments, from rooms and food and beverage to catering and sales of
the
resort while upholding the standards of the Westin brand and managing
an
international staff of more than 230 hospitality professionals. With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Jahangir started his notable career with Columbia Sussex as the Assistant Banquet Manager for the Marriott East in Louisville and quickly displayed his knack for leadership and management. Within fifteen years he acquired experience as general manager of several full-service properties including the Louisville Marriott East, Casino Aztar Hotel in Evansville, Ind. and Wyndham Chicago Hotel. “Jahangir brings a history of expert hospitality experience to this position. Originally from Tehran, Iran, Jahangir spent thirty five years in the U.S. before moving to St. Maarten in 2010.
