 to Host Free Webinar for Restaurant and Hotel Training Professionals
on Food Training Safety on May 5, 2011



WESTFIELD, N.J.--The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART www.chart.org ) will host a free webinar for restaurant and hotel training professionals on food handler safety at 1:00 pm EDT on Thursday, May 5, 2011.

Providing basic food safety training for employees is critically important in order to protect your customers and protect your brands. There is a growing trend by states which will require this level of training. Join the webinar and hear John Alexander, Director of Sales for the National Restaurant Association, review the regulatory landscape and provide details on the California Foodhandler program - the most recent "hot spot" for employee level training and a model for programs being considered around the country. Whether you operate restaurants currently in California or not, this webinar will provide you with up to date information on how to prepare your front line employees to serve food safely.

John Alexander is a 35-year veteran of the foodservice industry. His professional experience includes hotel and restaurant management, sales team management, and creating technology solutions for the hospitality industry.
