Waterford Hotel Group Appoints Wendy Russell as Regional Task Force Sales Manager


WATERFORD, CT (March 22, 2011)
--- Waterford Hotel Group has named Wendy Russell as Regional Task Force Sales Manager at its corporate offices in Waterford, CT. As Regional Task Force Sales Manager, Russell will provide sales & marketing support for hotel in the Waterford portfolio. Waterford Hotel Group professionally manages 27 properties in nine states, representing more than 3,600 hotel rooms nationwide, as well as the Connecticut Convention Center.

Russell joins the Waterford corporate office sales team from her most recent position as Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT. She first joined Waterford Hotel Group is 1993 as a Front Desk Agent at the Holiday Inn in Cromwell, CT, and has since served as Director of Sales for several Connecticut hotels, including the Ramada Limited in Branford, the Holiday Inn in Cromwell, the Residence Inn by Marriott in Mystic and the Holiday Inn Express in Southington. Russell also previously held the position of Catering Sales Manager for the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.
