Expected to open in 2012, the 200-room Ramada Encore Newcastle/Gateshead will be located in Gateshead Quays in close proximity to the Millennium Bridge, which links the north and south banks of the Tyne within Newcastle city centre. Also nearby will be The Sage, the largest conference and events venue in the North East. Highlights of the new hotel will include The Hub, a signature offering of all Ramada Encore properties that incorporates a restaurant, lounge area and bar, while other features will include a gym, meeting facilities and Wi-Fi throughout.
